I have a medical card through another state. Am I eligible to use it to make purchases with you?
Unfortunately, no, Florida does not offer reciprocity for other states’ medical cards/programs. You would have to specifically have a medical card issued by Florida to purchase with us. Of course! Our Budtenders pride themselves on being knowledgeable about our products and will walk you through their recommendations based on your experience using cannabis and the desired effect you are seeking.
What do I need to bring with me to the store?
You will need your active Medical Marijuana Use Registry (MMUR) Card. If you have not received your MMUR card in the mail yet, you must bring a government-issued ID (such as a driver’s license) along with a screenshot or printout of your approval email from the MMUR. The email from the state contains your MMUR Patient Number. This ensures your identity is fully validated in the state MMUR system and protects your prescribed allotment from any fraud.
I am unable to physically come to your store, can someone shop for me?
Yes. You can assign a caregiver in the state MMUR system. Your caregiver will need to bring their MMUR Card to validate their caregiver status in the registry portal. Visit the state’s Office of Medical Marijuana Use (OMMU) website for more information on caregivers.

What is a Cashless ATM?
When you use your debit card for payment, the total amount due is automatically rounded up to the nearest $10 increment. Any overage is provided to you as exact change. For example, if your total is $23, you will be debited $30 from your bank account and given $7 in change. Any debit card used MUST reflect the purchasing patient’s name.
Will there be additional taxes associated with my medical cannabis purchase?
Medicinal products are not taxed, but any merchandise, consumption devices, and/or accessories are subject to have sales tax applied.

Your points will be available in your Loyalty Wallet 24–48 hours after your order is completed.
Do you have a referral program?
Yes, through your loyalty wallet you have a personalized link to share with someone who has not enrolled into your loyalty program.
Do you allow stacking of promotions and discounts?
No, we do not allow the stacking of promotions, discounts, or loyalty point redemptions. Each transaction is eligible for only one discount or redemption at a time.
What is your pet policy?
Furry friends are always welcome in our locations! We do ask that all pets are leashed to ensure other patients in the building are comfortable. If the animal is behaving in an uncontrolled manner, including, but not limited to, excessive barking, growling at dispensary staff or patients, or is not housebroken, Sunburn reserves the right to request the service animal be removed from the premises. The owner assumes all liability for their animal while on company property
What is your return policy?
- Returns and exchanges are handled on a case-by-case basis. As a premium brand, we want you to be completely satisfied with your Sunburn purchase. If the product is defective, we will always honor a return.

How long do you hold pickup orders for?

What are THC and CBD?
THC and CBD are both cannabinoids derived from the cannabis plant, but they’re different in many ways that may influence your next dispensary purchase.
An easy way to think about it is that THC is defined by effects that cannabis makes you feel. CBD will not intoxicate you or get you high.
What are terpenes?
Terpenes, are the aromatic compounds that give cannabis strains their unique scent. In other words, terpenes are the reason Banana Pancakes smells like sweet cake, Chem de la Wilson like a pine forest, and Chem D like a bucket of funky fuel.

The “Dispensable Amount” is the amount currently eligible to be dispensed and is calculated as the difference between the amount permitted by your current order and your total dispensation history over the past 35 days for “Smoking Marijuana” and the past 70 days for the “Medical Marijuana” order types.
How are products dispensed in my OMMU?
- State regulations require all MMTCs to dispense products in a specific form and weight. Below are guidelines for the products we offer:
- Smoking Marijuana – by the package weight
- All Flower products
- Medical Marijuana – THC products by potency and package weight
- Oral – Nectars
- Topical – Body Butter, Lotion
- Edibles – Chews, Lozenge, Soothers
- Inhalation – Vapes, Concentrates, Hash
- Low THC Marijuana – CBD products
- Topical – Body Butter, Lotion
When do you receive restocks on product?
The farm is working overtime to get you all of the products that you love. And while we can’t promise we will restock exactly what you were looking for, The Sunburn stores get supplied by the farm at least once a week. To stay informed on restocks and new drops make sure to add your email address here to get daily updates on when your favorites are back in stock.
How do I access the COAs?
- All of our products have a downloadable COA on our site to assist you with making your product selection.
- COA’s are accessible by scanning the QR code on the label of your product and entering the harvest number of your product into our COA database.
